Amanda Squiers is a dual boarded Nurse Practitioner who received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Vanderbilt University. She started as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She has been an Assistant Professor in Nursing and Instructor in Urology where she has taught Medical students, Nursing students, and Urology Residents. She is also an invited lecturer nationally and internationally. In addition to her work in academics and clinical practice, she has been involved in urology research and has multiple publications on a variety of urologic conditions.
Amanda is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional who partners with doctors in skilled patient care. Nurse Practitioners diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, and counsel patients on treatment plans. Las Vegas Urology has many excellently qualified and credentialed advanced practice providers who are key members of our medical team. It’s often easier and faster to make an appointment to see an APP than it is with a physician, as physicians regularly block time for surgeries and advanced procedures.
