R. David Larsen, MD, FACS

Dr. Larsen received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology, graduating magna cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He served his surgical and urological residencies at the University of Utah finishing as Chief Resident. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1987 and recertified in 1997.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Larsen also maintains membership in national and regional medical societies including the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Lithotripsy Society, Nevada State Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society and Las Vegas Urological Society. He has served as President of Utah Urological Society, Las Vegas Urological Society and as Chairman of the Urology Division in Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

Dr. Larsen has been published in medical journals, conducted clinical research, made numerous presentations to professional organizations, and has served on the clinical faculty of University of Utah School of Medicine in the Departments of Surgery and Family Medicine.

Dr. Larsen’s special interests include pediatric urology, urologic oncology, minimally invasive treatments for prostatic enlargement, stone disease and incontinence. He is fluent in Spanish.
